House overwhelmingly passes Smith’s newest legislation to combat human trafficking

“Today’s legislation will also reauthorize the amazing work being done by Homeland Security’s Angel Watch Center—a project mandated by my International Megan’s Law (IML) enacted in 2016,” said Smith, Co-chair of the Human Trafficking Caucus, which he co-founded 15 years ago.

“In just a few years under IML, the Angel Watch Center has made more than 19,000 notifications of planned travel by convicted sex offenders with more than 7,000 individuals who committed sex crimes against children denied travel, helping to reduce child sex tourism,” Smith said.

Scammers will not stop at anything to push their lie’s in order to rape the American people out of 1.1 Billion dollars and to prevent 7.000 people from traveling with their families on vacations and other legal business. Oh they just forgot to mention that.

I spoke warnings years ago when it started that if it was not challenged in court right away with everything we have it would become a hydra with so many heads it could never be successfully fought and it would cause destruction at home..All the groups with the power to fight (ACLU,NORSOL,ECT) laughed at me. Said it was a waste of money that needs to be spent fighting at home..I warned that you’ve already lost your battle at home and if you loose your ability to escape the tyranny abroad your battle at home is going to get worse…Now you see the start of a hat I’ve tried to warn you unfold..Its almost too late folks..These lunatics need to be challenged before they entrench further..You think you know abuse? Haha.. wait till you see what happens when your voice is absolutely silenced and escape completely shut down.. better shine up those stars folks and line up for your complimentary tattoos..I’ve got 27 years of being right when everyone has said it would never get worse .Does anyone still want to bet against my predictions?

there is NO ONE who did not think it would get worse every year. These are people who create their OWN jobs in the name of children and NO ONE has the balls to step up to them because they are scared of what could happen. I REFUSE to bow to those meatheads!

See, this is the kind of response you see from those who aren’t bothering to pay attention and just prefer to foam at the mouth and accuse strangers of weakness.

Angel watch actually gave Interpol the wrong information about me who then relayed that false information to the country i was visiting and i was banned from that country for 3 years until i could get a lawyer from that country to fight and relay to immigration my real charge. Angel watch according to Interpol said i had raped young children. my charge was possession of material. On top of that my final paperwork from the court/judge says “no victims under the age of 18” Angel Watch is just another scam to make people feel guilty so that they can vote to give more nd more of our tax dollars to that organization which i am sure are put in the pocket of the politicians that endorse it

What organization are you asking about?
IML does not touch on domestic travel.

Thanks for your answer #3. Yes, that is the organization I was refering to IML. Problem I fear is that once they have this down pat they or our government will start working on our domestic travel as well. Besides, I’m sure (assuming) that Europe has its own system of IML between countries of the EU and as the fearmongering continues here in our country, they’ll eventually follow Europe’s lead. Paranoia has a strange way of causing people to inact laws that are not based on fact but are rooted in fear or even politics.

IML is not an organization. It’s an acronym for International Megan’s Law (IML).

The EU has open borders and most countries within the EU (I believe all other than the UK) don’t have a registry, so I’m doubtful your assumption is true.

ACSOL discusses European travel every month. And the conclusion is always the same: the 26 Schengen Agreement countries do not care whether you’re on a registry when they welcome you in.

Jacob i hate to disagree with you but the European countries that you speak of are starting to care about people on the registry in my last 2 trips to Poland/Germany i was pulled aside both times for an interrogation and put through the paces before i was let in. My case is weaker than most on the registry so i think that someone with a worse case may have been turned away. Whatever you dio tell the truth if pulled aside and questioned no matter where you go. Odds are is that they already know your charges and could turn you away if you tell them a lie

I would urge that this valuable information be shared with the Registrant Travel Action Group. Fill out the online form (Travel Experience Report) so they can update the Registrant Travel Matrix to reflect this.

yes, only a matter of time before all Schengen countries bow down to US notices and reject SO travel…. Greece is the first to fall. SO can not visit there any more and it is a more liberal country than most Schengen countries. See the travel matrix if you don’t believe this post!

            Sam,

The travel matrix is not up to date i have sent info about places that have either pulled me aside for questioning or denied me altogether(like Ukraine i was banned for 3 years) this was done years and months ago and the matrix remained the same. I advise all RSO’s who wish to travel somewhere to call the embassy and get permission or if you can the immigration office of the country you wish to visit and get permission(sometimes the immigration department doesn’t care if the Embassy said it was OK)

Also couldn’t help but notice that this “article” sounds suspiciously close to propaganda.

Harsh laws against RSOs also increase human trafficking. A WI woman uses the harsh penalties for RSO to frame the men who get her pregnant so she can fly to the Netherlands and sell American babies there while the men await trial and can’t stop her from selling the babies. Is there a phone number to contact FAC to share the details privately? I can share the files I have. If someone were actually wanting to bring attention to this to make is stop, that would be great!

Does anyone know if this legislation targets those off the registry with a sex offense in their history, meaning background checks will be run on all America s if traveling internationally?
