News coverage of Florida’s Miracle Village
Miracle Village’s uniqueness frequently draws journalists to seek out the community. This peaceful area of Florida that has given hope to many people with a past sex offense, has drawn international attention as The Eastern Herald has recently reported on the village.
The Eastern Herald originated in India and claims to be at the “forefront of global journalism.” One of their journalists, Hareem Bajwa, noted previous news sites that had reported on this serene section of Florida.
Bajwa says that “Miracle Village’s approach to rehabilitation is multifaceted and compassionate, focusing on providing support and resources to individuals seeking to rebuild their lives after facing legal and social challenges.”
Unfortunately, people in surrounding communities are not as compassionate and informed as Bajwa is.
All the people that hate us, I do not wish what we are going through on any of them. Having said that, if you ever do get in our situation, how fast will you realize the harassment was not justified.
A added not is, how odd is it that none of the people who stemmed from my charges have ever bothered me, they never showed up to court not ever contacted or harassed me. But people who live around us, and some that don’t, and were never our victim, want us gone or even dead.
You do not have to like us, but leave us alone. We have families who want to be left alone. A while back, a post on FAC stated a man who was on the registry was killed and the murderer had zero connection to the registered person.
Miracle Village is in the middle of a farming area. Google maps shows the closest residences to be over 2 miles away. These hysterical “neighbors” who are worried about their children should find some greater danger to panic over, like alligators or pythons.
