Motive for murder of homeless registrant up in the air.

The following are excerpts from an article on the killing of Jean Lascelle, who was shot in the back of the head by another person at a temporary shelter they were both staying at.

Lascelle was one of 478 sex offenders in Manchester, one of 2,945 people statewide who can’t outrun their past once fingers start clicking away on the internet. Lascelle’s crime goes back 39 years, to 1982.

Of course, people on the registry struggle in relationships, employment and housing.Until this winter, Lascelle wouldn’t have been welcome in the city’s homeless shelter.

But in guarded emails, shelter operator Families in Transition said it has made “adjustments and improvements” and is now following “evidence-based models” and best practices to lower barriers to people seeking shelter.Translated, that means that sex offenders are now welcome into shelters.

So why was Lascelle shot?

The homicide prosecutor overseeing the investigation said he’s drawn no conclusion about motive.

How stupid is this so-called prosecutor?

He was murdered because he has been doxed and cancelled by the US Government, forced to tell the world the worst thing he had ever done in his life.

His blood is on the government’s hands.

We can all suspect the reason behind it, but it doesn’t mean that it was the actual reason. Only the killer knows what it was.

Well at least he doesn’t have to register again. He got off easy probably didn’t feel a thing.

I’d bet my right arm that registration was the motive, and that the investigation is going to be geared toward overlooking that, based on LE’s remark that motive doesn’t have to be proven to convict for murder in Massachussetts.

I’d also bet my left arm that the trigger man’s lawyer will stress that the victim was a registrant when arguing for a sentence with parole eligibility, whether registration was the motive or not.
