Invitation to Upcoming FAC Summer Events

Weekly Update 2017-05-30

Dear Members and Advocates,

As if you can’t tell from the heat, the summer is nearly upon us. As things sometimes have a tendency to slow down, the volunteers at FAC are not slowing down one bit!

This summer we will be co-hosting several viewing events across Florida, where we will be screening the documentary film, “Untouchable” as well as participating in panel discussions afterwards. During the coming month, we will have two such events; on June 14th in Tampa and on June 20th in Fort Lauderdale. If you are located in or near either city, we strongly encourage you to join us at the event closest to you. Since space is limited, to ensure you spot on the guest list, please RSVP by using the links below and indicate how many guests you will be bringing:

This coming Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 8:00 PM we will be holding our regularly scheduled Monthly Member Call. The topic of the June call will be a recap of the 2017 legislative session; what passed, what didn’t and what changes are in store. We will also have a brief update on legal matters as well as a discussion on volunteering opportunities. There are several ways you can contribute to the fight that don’t cost a penny, only a little time. We are in need of more volunteers to assist in several areas, so if you can, please step up and pitch in.

We look forward to hearing from you on our member call, or meeting you at one of our events this summer.

Sincerely,

The Florida Action Committee
