Have you been provided guidance at re-registration?

We have received a report from a member that they were provided written guidance as to the changes in the registration laws taking effect next month when they re-registered at their sheriff’s office.

If you have received any guidance as to the changes, please forward a copy to legal@floridaactioncommittee.org.

I just had my rereg and .no changes, Orange county. They ask me the same questions now for 15 years. They have no time to talk because the place is packed. They now are allowing walkins and allowing for late month visits. They act like you are a guilty maniac and bark at you. This visit the cop was being watched by cop 2 taking notes. They act like jerks. I cant wait for October. Its impossible to trace our internet use. Technically impossible. It just wont work. FDLE is supposed to contact us when laws change.

Changes? Stop all these years of unconstitutional punitive punishment. So maybe I can have some happiness. With the few years I have left.

I just completed my reregistration today. I saw a copy of the new laws taking effect in October. The one specific to URL was actually explained in detail (On paper, not by the officer) and stated that the only URL that needs to be released is the primary URL. i.e. if I went to this page, I would not have to submit “http://floridaactioncommittee.org/have-you-been-provided-guidance-at-re-registration/” But only “www.floridaactioncommittee.org”

That doesnt make sense because then I could simply say I use http://www.googl.com as my main link but yet go anyplace after that. Also how would this work with a VPN? So every utility,Bank,Travel,Social any link? IRS.Gov and so on this would be crazy. I always thought the purpose was a social media site or chat program used to communicate with others in a social environment. Its impossible to list every site you actually visit and its a very bad and dangerous invasion of privacy. Imagine now I can look up the sites you might use to figure out who you bank with and so on. We are talking thousands of links so you might as well build a file of every website you can think about and upload it 🙂

And wasn’t there something about letting them know before you use the webpage – how utterly ridiculous

So how do we notify them of the URL before we use it. I have to drive down to the sheriffs office and tell them I’m logging into pizza hut.com .. So I will just tell them out me down for every URL that there is because there’s no law against us visiting any certain URL once off probation so there ya go.. There freaking idiots.

I just asked my son – he just re registered – he did not receive any instruction. He is Seminole county. So he called and was told that there is a copy on the FDLE website (yeah we know how clear that piece of garbage is) and he was told all registrants will be receiving a letter in the mail – wow what a great use of tax payer money!!

this will put me on food stamps and homeless as i currently make a living selling items some days i may visit 100’s of websites looking for things to buy and resale; i also run programs that will search sites for me and i have no idea of the url before the result is displayed. so i must start testing out and paying for a VPN that doesnt keep logs and hope that works for me. but doing that most likely will have a negitive effect on my main sells channel as i would be removed from it. i’m just so screwed with this crap!

Just went to re-register in Pasco County. The friendly deputy had NO idea the law had changed. I had to direct her to the FAC website. It was the first time she had seen the notice and she suspects the deputies who supervise registrants has no idea this law goes into effect on October 1.
