Get Involved – JOIN FAC – Meet your Local Teams

We don’t want you to miss anything!

A huge THANK YOU to all of our members for your constant support and involvement.  If you need to update your contact information, or if you are NOT receiving Weekly Updates and announcements of local events, please email membership@floridaactioncommittee.org.

This post is intended for those who are visiting the Florida Action Committee (FAC) site, but have not completed a Membership form.  While we accept your comments and share notifications of new posts, you may not realize that you are missing out on other opportunities for you and your family, such as Weekly Updates, Monthly Membership Meetings, Support Groups, and especially local FAC events.

Membership in FAC is FREE. We are a non-profit organization that runs 100% on volunteers and donations. No one in the organization is paid for their services, including many active members and directors that work around the clock to bring you news, answer emails, write letters, return phone calls, and network with other organizations on your behalf to ensure persons with past offenses are not being excluded from programs and opportunities.  We suggest a donation of $60/year or $5/month if you can help with the operating costs. We suggest a donation to support Legal challenges in any amount you can afford. No one will be turned away from membership for their to inability to make a donation. If you are not already a member of FAC, please join at https://floridaactioncommittee.org/become-a-member/ and you may select “Mail Check” if you are not ready to make a donation today.

Be sure to follow the FAC Calendar for upcoming events and local meetings. Meet-and-Greets are open to members, their guests, family, and adult children. To attend a Meet-and-Greet, you must RSVP; once your membership is verified you will receive the location and details for the meeting. Here are just a few of the upcoming events:

Brevard Conference Call – Monday July 25th from 530-630 pm. Call 319-527-3487. Everyone is invited.
The purpose of this planning call is to organize the attendance and speakers for the Brevard County Commission meeting. If you wish to attend or speak at the meeting, it will be held Aug 2 at 5pm (2725 Judge Fran Jamieson Way, Building C, Commission Room, Viera, FL). If you are in the area PLEASE be present to show opposition of a planned “re-vote” of the amended ordinance which allows businesses to self-certify as a park that would restrict presence of a registered citizen within 1000 ft of that business.

We do not have a good presence in Tallahassee. We need more volunteers up there.

Folks I’m here in VA and if I were down there I would take a stand like any other and get involved. I’m sure this registry is a type of vain justice in and of itself. Even Cherokee it goes against a lot of biblical principals in many ways. its hard enough for people in VA in these various ordeals.

Even this lifetime is a bit much and stinks to high heaven in many vain type ways.
