Florida Youth Registration Story Collection
Juvenile Law Center is working on a report on the registration of youth as sex offenders in Florida. The report will address state registration law, county and municipal ordinances, and data on individuals required to register as youth in Florida. We are collecting stories from individuals who were or are required to register as sex offenders in Florida following either an adjudication in juvenile court or a conviction in criminal court for an offense that occurred while the individual was under the age of 18. We are also collecting stories from close friends and family members of registered youth. We hope to share some of these stories anonymously in the report to illustrate and humanize the issues we are discussing.
Please share the following link with registered individuals, or their friends and family members who may be willing to share their stories: https://forms.gle/T3CHikNVZ2XGm5ag7.

Am curious, are Juvenile registered citizen’s in FLA or any other state have restrictions on where they can live?
Will be interested to see some of these stories as the registry was set up originally to protect the children under 18 and now there are close to 200,000 children under the age of 18 on it and that was of 2019 1 out of every 8 juvenile offenders are 12 or younger
