Family Support Sessions and Local Meetings

In the Weekly email updates, we have included dates of upcoming Family Support sessions and local FAC Meet-and-Greets.  Locations are not provided until you RSVP and we can verify that you are a member of FAC, or you are interested in joining.

Family Support Sessions are conducted by qualified therapists who are offering sessions free of charge to family members and loved ones only. Seating is limited.  We are very grateful for the time and support they have given to our FAC family members.

Meet and Greets are local meetings and workshops that provide an opportunity to meet other local members, discuss the issues affecting you, and participate in projects that raise awareness of FAC.  We are an organization of 100% volunteers.  We can accomplish so much more when members come together….”No task is too heavy when everyone lifts.”

Here are the upcoming events:

Fri Sep 27 – Family Support Session in the Tampa area – 7:00 p.m.

If you guys wanna do one in the Duval/Firsr Coast area I have a nice little meeting place. It’s a college seminary classroom. Got TV and ability to play media. Just let me know. It’s on the westside of Jacksonville

I would really like to meet some of the people involved in FAC. Nothing much goes on our way, so I thought about driving to Orlando or Daytona. My problem, though, is that I am with my husband on Saturdays and Sundays. I leave him somewhere between 1 pm and 2 pm and thought about driving over to one of these gatherings, but googlemaps says I will arrive after they have ended.

I would never want something planned around my schedule because something unforeseeable could still happen where I could not attend. It needs to be a time where the greatest number of people can attend.

MJ, if something gets planned in Jacksonville, I might be able to make that. I arrive back home around 4 or 5 pm. If the Lord wants me to meet some FAC members some day, then it will happen. If not, well, that is okay, too.

The challenge in Brevard has always been finding a location for 30 people that does not violate the county ordinance 2006-31. Send proposed location addresses to membership@floridaactioncommittee.org and we will get verification from Sheriff office.

        Absolutely ridiculous.

F the criminal regime of Brevard. When you get verification from the sheriff, do please tell them to go F themselves and that people are praying every day that they all get shot. It’s an unfortunate part of war.
