DNA evidence exonerates Florida man after 37 years.

A hearing before Hillsborough County Circuit Judge Christopher Nash on Monday resulted in an order wiping the previous convictions and life sentence, and removing Robert DuBoise from the state’s sex offender registry.

Congratulations Robert! And thank you Susan Friedman of the Innocence Project!

Beyond sad to think of 37 years of your life, which is truly short anyway. Congrats are still in order to the Innocence Project. Bet no one listened to him proclaim his innocence…bet they forced him(or tried ) to get him to “just admit you did it….we know you did”. We(big majority?) seem to believe we have an infallible justice system. We do not and each day that goes by, however slowly, just proves it. He should be paid big money for this injustice….that would hurt the “system” more than anything….and yes they should pay. If we can spend billions upon billions for an “election” they should definitely pay for something useful!!

    Congratulations Robert!
The question left is how many thousands others are there that can’t get the help they need to get justice ,if you can call loosing half your life before getting a fair trial justice.
