This event aims to bring together professionals, practitioners, academics, researchers and the Public to discuss sexual violence. The objective is to have a frank and free discussion about sexual harm: its causes, consequences, responses to it, and how to identify as well as prevent it. The event will involve four short 10 minute talks by a range of experts (listed below), an information stall, and a chance to meet local service providers, charities and outreach groups who work in the field of sexual violence.
Who should attend?
This event is aimed at the general public and requires no prior education, training or specialist knowledge on any of the topics. Everyone is welcome!
Why attend?
- To improve your understanding of sexual abuse and how we can all play a role in its prevention.
- To improve your awareness of current responses to sexual abuse.
- To become more aware of the consequences of sexual abuse for the victims, offenders, their families, communities, and society as a whole; and
- To become involved in prevention, public health and education strategies to address sexual abuse.

Do what Orange Couny Ordinance are you quoting? There is no such Orange County Ordinance for a RSO to attend a event within any School. However, if you register with a school to attend classes, that is State Law and must tell the cops. But to simply go to a seminar or workshop at any Orange County school is not sgainst any specific Ordinance that I can see. Please correct if im wrong here.
What happens if my voting precinct is a school in Florida? Anybody?
