NYCLU files class action lawsuit over geographic restriction of 1,000 feet

The NYCLU filed a class action lawsuit challenging New York Executive Law § 259-c (14) in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, alleging the 1,000-foot geographic restriction violates the 14th Amendment.

    They don’t need that law. 1000 feet 20 feet. If they have a ankle monitor they will be caught if they want to act up. It’s the ones who aren’t following rules that they let out of civil commitment. To make it look like See that’s why we have civil commitment . Hoops and mirrors. Smoke and mirrors. Y’all. Think about it. They get paid to keep our men guys in there. Don’t take a plea deal. Keep all you can. Write who you can. And never forget to ask about what will happen if I take this deal …and No Science. If you hear defend with science won’t call your freinds or family to speak on your behalf. Get another Lawyer. Rebuttttt like hell. I’m going to. And if anything DCF says is untrue note it against your regular case files. Like I have. Keep up. And remember. Your not alone.
