Citizens Need To Demand That Florida Defunds DeSantis’ Private Elections-Crimes Unit
The news media continues to keep the public informed of the results of DeSantis’ elections police force, with a big emphasis on its failure. According to The Brunswick News, “DeSantis office has yet to offer any explanation as to why they singled out just 20 among hundreds of cases of voters flagged due to potential ineligibility – and why others, whose cases were largely identical to the 20 people charged, were not prosecuted.”
Media outlets are finding “the difference in treatment seems to rely on where those 20 former felons lived.”
State Representative Gottlieb, an attorney who stood up against Representative Patt Maney’s bill that would have required the red lettering on the front of a driver’s license for anyone on the registry, stated: “…we’re using a state police force for political prosecutions.”
Thanks to the media, the truth is slowly coming out. Florida citizens need to contact their legislators and demand they defund “DeSantis’ private elections-crimes unit.”
If i was one of the 20 arrested my legal strategy would be to take it to trial. Why is 2 groups categorically excluded from protection continuously with open malice again and again. Equal protection should apply here.
No taxation with out representation
You are a braver man than I am. I don’t know if I could. I spent five months in jail for a probation violation that I had been told wasn’t a violation. I had a good lawyer who kept the affair from hurting a whole lot more.

Considering one of the recent states he was campaigning at, had some voters relating him to Hitler, and a dictator. It’s not any surprise he would do this.
