Fast food isn’t my first choice, but I’ve worked for KFC and Hardee’s. Your best choice is to get yourself a certificate and/or degree. I have a 2 year certificate in machining and and A.S. in engineering. Boosted my income significantly. Third, you can always start a business. I strongly recommend starting a corporation, particularly and S type or C type. S type was best for me. If you’re the boss, you can’t be denied employment.

Maybe I read the flyer wrong, but it looked as though the DOC and sheriff’s office were hiring.

The flyer says “ALL backgrounds”. Do we know if that includes the usual all BUT RC’s? I would go and ask all the firms directly and then make a list of those willing to overlook, but can’t due to schedule conflict. If someone does go this may be a good list to create and share.

I’m curious to know if anyone here who attends this job fair actually gets hired into a good job with good pay. I mean something really good, not Burger King, McDonalds or something like that.
    Keep us posted.
