“I will chase you till I die, that I assure you.”

“I will chase you till I die, that I assure you.” is the closing line of a letter from Lobbyist Ron Book to an individual in a complaint he filed against a pet shop that had allegedly misappropriated his parrot. Last week Book filed a small claims lawsuit against a pet shop owner who allegedly failed to return his bird, “Blue”. Apparently the bird died while he was at the shop.

Of course, whether the parrot was stolen, died or flew away, the loss of a pet is sad no matter how it happens and we can sympathize with that. The content of his letter, however, gives us some insight into the man’s venomous personality.

What I find interesting is he seems more interested in the money or “replacing” the bird. Not the actual welfare of the bird.

It sounds to me more likely that Book has been negligent in his care of both birds and that this person has actually sought to rescue them. If they have died then I’ll wager Book is the guilty party since we already know he is a drunk (and probably abuses other substances as well). If I was the guy who got this letter I would have a restraining order filed against him and his family members and employees since there is plainly a threat expressed. Book’s a dirtbag…nothing new about that.

Ron Book is more of an angry toddler with money and power than an adult with any clue of what its like to be one. I read the letter. This excuse of a human being seems to care far more abiut birds than he does the human lives he loves so much to try and destroy. Im not and angry or vengeful person. But the sooner he does die the better off this world will be. He does no good. Maby the puppet he spawn Lauren will find something else to do once he’s gone. Apretanly in Fl, you don’t even need to be a law maker to make Laws. All you need is money..

To bad this drunk doesn’t think as much of human life as he does a Bird. What gives him the right to threaten anyone. Of coarse he will probably get by with it when he says he was under the influence and didn’t know what he was saying.
Please keep us informed when he goes to trial for his last drunk driving case.

How many active drunk driving cases does Ron Book/Crook have? I would assume just one, but more? He should be in jail instead of out endangering the public.

Interestingly, Ron, Lauren, and Ron’s other daughter Samantha have all been sued over automobile accidents in Broward County over the years so poor driving is quite the problem in that family.

These are not only vile people but vain people! Shamelessly whoring his daughters tragic story into careers for them both! Pathetic

Ah, so Ron Book may have committed a felony with this written statement. Even tough this was sent via FedEx, it is considered for legal purposes, the same as regular mail. If we did a little bit deeper here, there are many charges he can be hit with, all felonies. At this point the small claims lawsuit should be thrown out because this lawsuit can be considered retaliatory.

Additionally, Ron used is “Professional Association” legal entity in a personal matter. This means he could be awarded legal fees if he wins, while being able to personally accept the money for his “personal association” business since his name is going to be on that check. If i were the defendant, I would try to get this stopped immediately. So now we know how Ron Book operates, legally speaking.

    18 U.S. Code Ā§ā€Æ876. Mailing threatening communications

“(a)Whoever knowingly deposits in any post office or authorized depository for mail matter, to be sent or delivered by the Postal Service or knowingly causes to be delivered by the Postal Service according to the direction thereon, any communication, with or without a name or designating mark subscribed thereto, addressed to any other person, and containing any demand or request for ransom or reward for the release of any kidnapped person, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.”

Okay, so with is statement of intent to “I will chase you till I die, that I assure you.”, this also means he intends to do so without limits, including cyber-stalking which is FBI territory. The first accusation is already that of FBI territory.

Also, the US Postal Inspection service takes these kinds of threats very seriously and can be reached by calling 1-877-876-2455.

Sorry, i submitted the wrong subsection of the US Code. I’m having a hectic morning here with everything going on with California wildfires, etc.

I won’t spend more time posting about this, just wanted to remind people that these are crimes Book is being accused of here and if anyone was so included to look into it and contact the defendant with the info, it could be helping the defendant against Ron Book.

Perhaps the real story is the bird threatened suicide if returned to Ron Book and the pet store owner, having compassion Ron Book lacks, helped the bird escape. and The cover story is the bird died but itā€™s really living in a homeless camp with sex offenders knowing that is the last place he would be discovered by Ron Book.

I would like to know why he took his second bird to a person that he claims already had one of his birds die in his custody? Personally, I wouldā€™ve found a different person to take care of my bird. Iā€™m with some of you others that said you think that he was perhaps abusing the birds. Iā€™ve had birds and Iā€™ve been around parrots and I know a little bit about caring for them. They can be very delicate creatures

Are we seeing first hand the harm primary and secondary victims of CSA display?
I’m no fan of what the Books have done but on the same note I’m no fan of what I’ve done either.
Maybe I’ll get negative feedback for this but are we scorning a father who feels deep hurt for the harm that was inflicted on his daughter by someone he himself brought into her world? Man, that’s gotta suck.
Can we simultaneously dish it out but not take it?
Haven’t we caused harm? Do we ask to be allowed to move forward?
Not justifying his or Lauren’s behavior just saying maybe there’s an explanation like maybe there’s an explanation for what I did or maybe there’s an explanation for what you did but that’s not justification.
He and Lauren need to reevaluate their approach to this problem for sure. God forbid we take a more European approach which has shown to actually decrease instances of CSA. Shouldn’t that be the goal rather than vengeance?
    Thanks for your time.

      Michael,

Letā€™s take another unpopular situation into consideration, shall we? Here goes….

Legal age of consent in MOST states is 16. But many times itā€™s not the 16 yr olds who date or mess around with older people. Itā€™s almost as if when we turn legal age we know itā€™s not illegal for the other person anymore and therefore kinda takes the ā€œthrillā€ out of it. But those UNDER whatever the stateā€™s legal age is, tend to think itā€™s ā€œcoolā€ to mess around sexually with an older person. Like I did when I was 15 with a 22 yr old woman. Then, I ended up messing around with a 15 yr old after a very heartbreaking divorce.
These types of relationships are seen as ā€œconsensualā€ by the DAā€™s and the lawmakers, which is why they are given the ā€œin the 2nd degreeā€ title. But these relationships are illegal. Understandable. Now then… hereā€™s the problem with Ron Book and his princess… What happened to Lauren was NOT consensual. Not in any way, shape or form. Lauren was not and (Iā€™m assuming still is not) a lesbian woman. The nanny was/is. And this nanny took advantage of Lauren AGAINST Laurenā€™s consent. And now the Books brigade sees ALL offenses of a sexual nature as if they are the equivalent of what happened to Lauren. Much the same way that most people view all of us as if we are the same type of person as the man who kidnapped, raped and murdered Megan Kanka.

I would love to see the registry abolished, but since thatā€™s most likely not going to happen, I would like to see that situations like my rendezvous when I was underage as well as what I (and many others have done non violently) when I was an adult get considered to be NONREGISTERABLE offenses. Only IF a person is a repeat offender going around hooking up with underage teens habitually, maybe then it would be a required registerable offense because the person shows they just have a thing for going after underage teens instead of legal age or above legal age.

So the Books donā€™t really care if youā€™re an older person who had an adventurous fling with a consenting teen or of you were a teen who sent your love interest a nude pic, the Books lump everyone into a single basket called ā€œscumā€.
This is why many of us find it difficult to feel any empathy or sympathy for the Books.

Also, yes, he himself brought this nanny into his daughterā€™s world. And Iā€™m 100% positive that he did extensive background checks on that nanny. Obviously. And obviously someoneā€™s CLEAN BACKGROUND does NOT predict what they may do. It actually doesnā€™t even give anyone a clear cut view of who a person truly is. Just because a person never got caught selling cocaine out of their back door on the weekends doesnā€™t mean they didnā€™t sell cocaine out of their back door on the weekends. Itā€™s just not on court record so therefore ā€œperfect angel! Youā€™re hired!ā€

I hope this example helps you understand why we do not like either of them. They literally make the situation stink more than it has to. They have pushed it to the point of being ā€œattention vampiresā€. And they feed off of fear. Period.

In his interview with the BBC about a year and a half ago, Ron Book made a chilling statement —

“No matter what, you commit a crime against a kid, we’re treating you different. You committed a crime, a heinous crime. You stole a (pauses)– you stole MY DAUGHTER’S CHILDHOOD, go to hell you son of a bitch! And that is why we require you to be registered, because we want the public to know that you are a potential problem.”

Lauren Book in the same BBC interview, “But if you commit a crime against a child, if (stutters) that is the kind of (stutters) thing that turns you on, no, you shouldn’t have a seciond chance, Why. Because, I, I, Lauren Book, is not willing to allow you to have a second chance.”

i’d keep these two statements in mind. There’s no reasoning with these two, they are fueled by hate AND they treat every Registered Person as if they personally sexually abused Lauren. They are completely unhinged.

My father use to always say….when you know someone’s story their actions make sense.

Those words have served me well and as you note, it is not justification for an action(s) but an understanding.

      That’s easy.

Most People Forced to Register (PFRs) probably did something bad, perhaps something heinous even, in the past. How long in the past? Decades. They were punished for what they did. They paid grave consequences. Personally, in my opinion, I’d say that a lot of them paid well too much. But that’s another argument.

The point is that PFRs did something and were punished for it. That is all over and done. I am listed on the Hit List. But I’m absolutely not an “offender”. I’m just a good, moral, productive person with a great family that big government keeps harassing. What would I be if the Hit Lists didn’t exist? A better person. A less dangerous person.

The difference between me and the Books is that I am a good person. They are harming people today. A LOT of people. They’ll be harming people tomorrow. And next week and next year. They are actively committing crimes and not being appropriately punished.

It’s that simple. Most PFRs are good, moral people. The Books are not. Unless they can repent and stop harming people, they deserve all the consequences they get and probably more.

I doubt either of them are “suffering.” Both use the situation to make them politically unassailable, and effectively so. Between Ron’s lobbying dollars and Lauren’s victim status (which she rushes to remind people of frequently), no one in the Florida legislature is willing to oppose them no matter how ridiculous their proposals.

Michael, if this man does feel deep hurt for his role in his daughter’s abuse, then he should accept responsibility for his decisions and deal with it. Isn’t that what SOs are constantly told to do? His scapegoating of all SOs is directly analogous to a rapist blaming the victim. I can’t say that I have tremendous sympathy for his years-long denial and self flagellation, particularly when it results in pain for so many others. Man up, Ron!

The “chase you till you die” remark could not be construed as an unlawful or a physical threat. In the context of the entire sentence, he is threatening to pursue civil action. However, that vitriolic language is just another indicator that he is an irrational and bitter man with severe anger issues.

      Veritas.

This is COMICAL…Where does he get the $8K Figure of damages!

I can attest that he is man of venomous behaviors as I am in the receipt of 4 nasty emails with which he responded to me using the ‘F’ word repeatedly and other vulgar language towards me, which is libelous, along with his Dauta Lauren reporting me to the State AG, wherein I reside, in which she complained that I was a threat to her simply because she was emailed several questions….So, the the AG last year sent out a bunch of LEO’s who tried to question me, which is illegal, and my Pit Bull escorted them immediately off my property…I have since sued the AG here and I will go for the Jugular….so, you see, the Book’s appear to be very tarnished people who just don’t give a damn about anyone else, but themselves

Oh, poor, Bird Blue….hopefully the bird is resting nicely, away from this bombastic character

Again, COMICAL….I hope the DAUTA, is weeping with him in his Wheaties!….I can’t stop laughing….this is a Frivolous lawsuit….The bird blue, probably flew away, on its own volition, fearing the return to his palatial estate!

    $8k, in alleged damages…what a crock!

    Confusion Here….

I thought Ronnie Boy was a Lobbyist for a group of pet stores (puppy mills) under the name ‘Petland’; however, there was some scuttlebutt surrounding his relationship to the aforementioned?!?!? Was he stripped of his association to such?
    -probably so….

BTW, his Bird Blue is a Macaw…Macaw’s can hear and repeat an owner’s information; Perhaps, the Bird Blue flew away, in fear of the Bird Testifying in his on-going DUI Case?

This should turn into a netflix’s comedy entitled, ‘WHISKEY BLUE’

Also, how is ‘HE’ able to come to the conclusion to sue for $8K…cant find any supporting case law between a bombastic person and a Macaw?!?!?!?

    Cheers RONNIE BOY!
