At FAC, we are all too familiar with the potential punitive consequences that can come with missing a registration period. That is why we have established a reminder service via text messages to help those on the registry remember that it is time to register again. Once setup, reminders are sent entirely through sms text messages This service is free of charge, although standard rates from your service provider may still apply. To sign up for registration text reminders, follow the instructions below:
- Use your mobile device to text the word “START” to 727-233-4785.
- Text the word “SETUP” followed by the months you must register; For example: SETUP Jan Jul OR SETUP 3 6 9 12 (January = 1, December = 12).
- You will receive multiple reminders during your registration months. Once you have registered you can text the word “REGISTERED” to stop receiving reminders for that month.
- Reminders will automatically resume on your next registration month.
